Dandelions releasing the seeds into to the wind - represents a spontaneous, emotional, and impossible to control moment.
In this fleeting moment the painting reflects the quiet departures woven through life: parents, children, people, and seasons moving beyond our grasp. Though uncertain, the release is gentle and beautiful. The distant mountains stand as a reminder of life’s greater perspective — steady, timeless, meditative and peaceful.
It’s a part of the “Moods of Nature” series: emotional, meditative, soothing and dreamy.
16 x 20” acrylic and oil on canvas.
